Considering Therapy? Important Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider
Before scheduling your first therapy appointment, it’s important to understand how your insurance coverage works.
Here are a few key questions you may want to ask your insurance company:

There are several advantages to choosing private pay:
If your plan offers out-of-network reimbursement, I am happy to provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt) to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
(Note: Reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies by plan.)
We are pleased to accept the following insurance plans:

· • Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) of North Carolina (most plans; but not in-network with 'Blue Home' marketplace plan)

· • Humana Medicare (Out-of-network, but authorization usually available)
· • Medicare (Original)

Please note: It is the client's responsibility to verify insurance benefits and coverage before the first session, and to notify us of any changes in coverage. Superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement when applicable. Clients are responsible for the fees not covered by their insurance, including deductibles, copays, lapses in coverage, and etc.
